Liz Robertshaw
Director of Around the Crease Lacrosse             

Liz Robertshaw, the 2009 America East Coach of the Year, completed her fourth season as the head coach of the Boston University Lacrosse team in 2010. Robertshaw has been a driving force behind the emergence of the Terriers onto the national scene and has led BU to America East championships in each of her four seasons at the helm and helped to led BU to SEVEN CONSECUTIVE AE TITLES and NCAA APPEARANCES. Robertshaw was also named an assistant for the United States Natioanl Team in August. 

A 12-year coaching veteran at the Division I level, Robertshaw served as the Terriers' top assistant for three seasons and was elevated to associate head coach before being named head coach on Sept. 1, 2006. Since then Robertshaw has led BU to a 57-22 (.720) record in her four years at the helm and won consecutive America East Conference Championships in each season. During her time at BU, Robertshaw has coached 4 players to US Team status, 11 players to All America teams, 27 players to All Region teams, 4 Conference Player of the Years, 3 Tewarraton nominees, and over 46 players to All Conference teams. 

Robertshaw earned USWLA All-American recognition in both her junior and senior seasons and STX/IWLCA All-American recognition in her senior year, becoming the first George Mason women's lacrosse player to earn All-America distinction. During her career, Robertshaw was a two-time captain, a four-time all-conference selection and was awarded the Aimee Willard Award as the top collegiate player at the US Lacrosse National Tournament in 1998. In 2010, Robertshaw was one of 25 women named to the Colonial Athletic Association Silver Anniversary Team.

Prior to arriving at Boston University, Robertshaw served as an assistant coach at Brown University from 2000-03 and George Mason University from 1998-1999.
